Hva sertifiseringen innebærer

The Vegan Trademark er registrert av The Vegan Society, den britiske veldedige organisasjonen grunnlagt i 1944, og har blitt lisensiert til produkter siden 1990. Produkter som bærer merket inneholder ingen animalske ingredienser eller animalsk avledede prosesseringshjelpemidler, og har ikke blitt testet på dyr av eller på vegne av selskapet. Registreringen er per produkt, så et merke kan ha merket på bare deler av sortimentet sitt.
