Hva sertifiseringen innebærer
EWG VERIFIED er et merke fra Environmental Working Group, en amerikansk ideell organisasjon, lansert i 2015. Produkter må unngå ingrediensene på EWGs liste over uakseptable stoffer, oppfylle deres standarder for ingrediens- og duftdeklarasjon, og følge god produksjonspraksis. Merket reflekterer EWGs eget rammeverk for risikovurdering, som er strengere enn myndighetenes krav for enkelte ingredienser.
